Disclosures:
Coaching may result in changes in your relationship with yourself and others.
Zoom is not HIPPA compliant. I cannot guarantee with 100% certainty that the information shared through Zoom will be safe from a data breach.
Anything you say to me, my notes, or any paperwork provided by you or your physician, mental health professional, or legal representative (current or past) will be kept confidential. The only time I will break that confidentiality is if I feel you are in danger of harming yourself or another person. If you report abuse to someone, or if I receive a legal subpoena to release your records.
I act as a Mandatory Reporter. This means that if I become aware that a minor, disabled person, or elderly person is currently being abused; I am mandated to report the abuse to the appropriate governing agency.
As a coach, I have limitations on what we can work through in your healing journey. There are some situations that I do not have the expertise to help you with. If you are in a place where there are risks to your safety (you are suicidal, significantly self-harming, in active addiction) I will do my best to help you find someone who is competent to deal with that particular issue. You do not have to stop seeing me, but we must bring in another professional who has the expertise with the safety issue at hand.
You may email me outside of session whenever you like. I may not be able to respond to every email, but I will read them before our next session.
Repeated cancellations may result in termination of our coaching/client relationship.
Recording of sessions is illegal without consent by both coach and client.
I reserve the right to end a client relationship.
My Fees:
I charge $120 per session for Memory Healing and Trauma Recovery Coaching.
I charge $75 per session for Spiritual Sensitivity Coaching.
Our first session we will go over Client Intake and we will complete a Client Safety Risk Assessment. Based on our assessment we may:
Create a Client Safety Plan and/or Crisis Management Plan.
I will always stay within my scope of competence. If the client's Safety Risk Assessment is above 40-60 points, then the client's safety risk is too high for coaching. I will immediately help the client find a therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist from whom they can seek therapeutic interventions. If a client's Safety Risk Assessment is 40-60 points and I cannot coach them during our session, our session is non-refundable.
Ask me about my Group Sessions.
It is my intention to help everyone that I can. If you cannot afford my rates, please reach out to me.
Payments:
Payment is expected at booking. If a payment is not paid before the session, the session will not take place.
Refunds:
Sessions are non-refundable.
I allow a 15-minute grace period at the beginning of our scheduled session. If you do not show up to our session after 15 minutes, I will leave the session and will not offer a refund.
If you show up under the influence of drugs or alcohol during a session, I will end the session without refund.
Cancellations:
If you make a payment for a session and cancel that appointment more than 24 hours before the appointment, your payment will apply to your rescheduled session. If you do not reschedule a session within 30 days, I will refund your payment after 30 days.
If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours-notice, I will assess a 50% penalty for the late cancellation. This means that I will keep 50% of your session fee and then hold the remainder of your payment to apply to your rescheduled appointment. If you do not reschedule within 30 days of the missed appointment, I will refund the remaining 50% of the session fee.
If you do not show up for your appointment and cancel without notice, I will retain the entirety of your session fee.
Crisis Response:
I do not provide crisis resources outside of client sessions. If you have an emergency, please call 911. -
Trauma Recovery Coaches work with clients to set realistic goals for their healing and personal development.
-
Trauma Recovery Coaches assist clients in creating action plans to achieve their goals and track their progress.
-
Trauma Recovery Coaches always provide trauma informed services which include the awareness of the various impacts of trauma, the variety of ways to recover from trauma, the necessity for and provision of policies and procedures that allow for trauma survivors to safely receive services from them and that actively seek not to re-traumatize survivors. They also provide services that emphasize safety, empowerment, trustworthiness, transparency, peer support, collaboration/mutuality, and recognition of client multi-dimensionality.
-
Trauma Recovery Coaches will not offer services to clients where the focus of care would require assistance with issues outside of the coach’s scope of practice or competence.
For example: a client might seek care for trauma related shame, which would be within the coach’s scope of competence. However, they might also be diabetic, which would not fall within the coach’s scope of practice. But because that is not the focus of the coaching relationship, the coach may work with this client.
-
Trauma Recovery Coaches do not provide advice about psychotropic medication.
-
Trauma Recovery Coaches do not diagnose or assess mental health issues.
-
Trauma Recovery Coaches do not conduct sessions under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Trauma Recovery Coaches do not discriminate against any race, gender, social class, gender identity, or religious belief.
-
Trauma Recovery Coaches set goals with their clients that reflect their client’s needs and wishes, not those of the Coach.

every client who pays a fee.
-

-
Trauma Recovery Coaches possess strong listening skills to understand clients’ needs and concerns.
Client Safety:
Trauma Recovery Coaches set the safety of their clients as their highest priority, both in direct work with clients and when creating any materials for clients to consume (such as curriculum or video content).
Safety Risk Assessments are mandated to be completed at the beginning of any coaching relationship regardless of the format of delivery of services such as one-to-one, group, or weekend retreat coaching. A Safety Risk Assessment is not required if you do not enter a coaching relationship. If a coach is providing psychoeducation, which may include discussion that has a natural outcome of greater self-awareness for participants but for which that was not the intent, that does not constitute a coaching relationship.
The Intersection of Professional and Personal Standards:
Coaches will always conduct themselves in accord with their professional status in a way that neither undermines public confidence in the process or profession of coaching, nor brings it into disrespute, while being aware of professional and personal boundaries.
Coaches will be aware of their personal beliefs and biases. The Coach will do their best not to bring personal biases into their professional work with clients.
Coaches understand that it is difficult to have a complete separation of personal and professional interactions. Coach and client may live in the same community. In this setting, a Trauma Recovery Coach will never acknowledge their client as a client either to that person or to others present. If the client wishes to name you as their coach, that is up to them. Trauma Recovery Coach will not disclose that relationship nor will they contribute to a conversation where the client is disclosing issues the two of you discuss in sessions.
Coaches will never enter dual relationships that involve a power differential, romantic or sexual relationship involvement, or financial dealings with a client.
Ethical Guidelines and the adherence to ethical standards is crucial in maintaining professional integrity.
Continuous Learning:
Trauma Recovery Coaches should engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about the latest research and best practices of trauma care.
Limitations:
-
Trauma Recovery Coaching is not a replacement for professional therapy or counseling. Coaches will refer clients to mental health professionals when therapeutic intervention is needed.
-
Trauma Recovery Coaches are not equipped to handle crisis situations. Clients in crisis should be directed to appropriate crisis intervention services.
-
In cases of complex trauma or severe mental health issues, coaches should collaborate with or refer clients to specialized mental health professionals.
Conclusion:
Trauma Recovery Coaching plays a valuable role in supporting individuals on their healing journey by providing guidance, education, and practical tools. Coaches must operate within their scope of practice and maintain professional competence to effectively support their clients. Collaboration with mental health professionals and a commitment to ongoing learning are key components to a successful Trauma Recovery Coaching practice.
